Seeds sown, germinate and flourish

I received this message today which was SO time needed.  It's from a parent of a student I taught 5 years ago...a simple reminder that the seeds you sow harvest for many years to come!

Hi, the other day a friend of mine said how do you teach your children respect? Their children bursts through the door while my friend is in the phone and demand things and are quite rude. They said their children are very disrespectful. My friend tells other people how respectful P is and waits until I’m off the ph to talk to me. So I asked P how come you are so respectful, what did I do to nurture that. His answer : well mum is wasn’t actually you. It was Mrs Collins. She taught us how to speak around adults. If you need their attention , you place your hand on their shoulder. He remembers that from Year 3! Thanks for teaching my son respect! 🙂
