Interview link
Paediatrician Dr Alison Leversha told us it's almost become the norm for children & elderly to live in cold damp homes in NZ.  Poor housing conditions can lead to all sorts of preventable illnesses. She said that we even have some of the highest rates of rheumatic fever in the world.  So, in order to give vulnerable kids a better chance this winter she's working with Variety New Zealand to provide more than 400 children with their own bed.
